Would you like to lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off for good?

We offer a range of services for adults in North Wales who need to lose weight for health reasons. We will provide the tools and support you need for successful, sustainable weight loss with a focus on promoting health and wellbeing. You’ll receive a handbook and helpful resources and we will support you to work towards what matters to you.

You can join our programmes either via video link from your own home or in face to face venues across North Wales.

Our iCAN Connectors will talk you through what’s available so you can decide what’s the best way forward and if our services aren’t right for you, you can work together to find help that is.

We offer a range of services including befriending, 1 to 1 support and courses such as My Generation, Mums Matter, Anxiety Management and an LGBTQ+ support group.

Help Me Quit | Stop Smoking Services In Wales

Help Me Quit is the single point of contact for smokers who want to stop smoking in Wales.

All Help Me Quit services in Wales will provide you with structured support on preparing to quit, quitting, staying stopped and your smoke-free future. Sessions are always delivered by trained stop smoking experts. There are a number of services in Wales. All services are free and will give you the best chance of quitting smoking for good. When you choose a Help Me Quit service, your stop smoking expert will discuss the different types of stop smoking medications which are available to help you quit

Community Wellbeing Team

Whether you’re interested in joining a singing or social group, taking up yoga or simply chatting on the phone, we can help.  Give us a call or pop us an e-mail and one of our friendly Wellbeing Officers will ask you about your interests and what really matters to you.  We can provide you with information and suggest activities, groups or support to meet your needs.

Carers Trust North Wales

Carers Trust North Wales Crossroads Care Services is the leading provider of emotional and practical support for unpaid carers and the people they care for across North Wales. We are a registered charity, and a network partner of Carers Trust which is a national organisation of local charities.

Health and Wellbeing Courses

BCUHB’s Self Care Office offers a range of free health and wellbeing courses for adults who live with long term health conditions and carers in communities across North Wales.

Physiotherapy Services - Self-Referral

  • Are you aged 18 or over

    · Do you have a joint or muscular complaint

    You can now refer yourself directly to the Physiotherapy Service. This means you do not have to visit your GP first, unless you wish to do so.

    The Self Referral service for physiotherapy is NOT available:

    • For neurological, breathing, heart, obstetric & gynaecological problems

    • If you have MULTIPLE joint or limb problems

    • If you have had a recent fracture or Orthopaedic Surgery

    • If you have had physiotherapy for the SAME PROBLEM within the last 6 months

SilverCloud - Free Online Mental Health Therapy

People across Wales can now access free online therapy without needing to go through their GP.

People aged 16 and over experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, depression or stress can sign-up for a 12-week course of SilverCloud online therapy via their smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

The roll-out of direct access to online therapy for Wales’ entire 16+ population recognises that people need immediate help in managing their mental health and wellbeing as the impact of COVID-19 continues to be felt, and reduces barriers to accessing this support.

Wales National Exercise Referral Scheme

There are a wide range of activities both gym based and class based to choose from for patients that have been through rehabilitation programmes. You will be able to access a wide range of opportunities and these will be available between 4 and 48 weeks of the programme (depending on medical condition).
